Gwendolyn E. Squires, PhD., is a former elementary/middle school principal having dedicated her entire career of over 45 plus years to public education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Science in Education, an Educational Specialist in School Administration, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration. She is the owner of Tea Time Self-Publishing Services where she supports aspiring authors. She has been a freelance writer since 1984. Her publishing credits include 25 children’s books, news articles, social media platforms, and national journals.

Inspiration for School Day Series

The School Day Series are funny stories about events at Seaside School, placed on the main character, megaphone carrying, grumpy, and iron-fist Principal Squires. They are illustrated in bright colors with a sense of playfulness, inspired by Dr.  Squires’ former position as a K-8 principal.

Gwendolyn E. Squires, PhD., is the owner of Tea Time Self-Publishing Services. She supports aspiring authors with producing, publishing, and marketing their passion from pen to paper. In the community she fosters her leadership skills with Societas Docta, Incorporated. Their focus is to bring together, motivate, and inspire women to pursue and achieve doctoral degrees. She is a member of Sisters’ Circle, which is a philanthropy organization. They purpose  to increase charitable giving within African-American communities which are in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
